Responsible business

Responsible business starts with clear standards.

We expect lawful, safe and respectful working conditions across our operations and business relationships.

Where we are

Standards first, then published policies.

LIFE GROUP is formalising its group policies for responsible sourcing, supplier conduct, workplace standards and food quality. Approved policies will be published here as they are adopted.

For Life Foods & Beverages Limited, manufacturing and supply partners will be expected to meet applicable legal, quality and food-safety requirements. Product-specific certifications and verified standards will be published only when they are in place.

What we expect

The standards we hold ourselves to.

These apply to our own work today, and are what we ask of every business we work with.

Lawful, safe work

We do not employ children. We expect safe workplaces, fair treatment and wages paid in line with Bangladeshi labour law.

Partners held to the law

Manufacturing and supply partners are expected to meet applicable legal requirements, including those on child labour, workplace safety and food safety.

Honest information

Claims, figures and certifications are published only when they can be supported by evidence.

Less waste

As operations grow, we intend to use only the packaging a product needs and to plan production around real demand.

Partnerships

Standards that travel with every partnership.

Whoever we work with, the same expectations apply: lawful work, safe workplaces, fair treatment and honest dealing.

Integrity

How we behave in business.

Trust takes years to build and moments to lose. We protect it in every decision.

Zero tolerance for corruption

We do not offer or accept bribes, kickbacks or improper payments, and we expect the same of everyone who works with us.

Policies when they are real

A policy is published once it has been formally adopted. Drafts are not presented as finished, and commitments are not described more strongly than the controls behind them.

Reporting honestly

We will share our progress openly, including where we fall short.

Speak up

If something is not right, tell us.

Anyone can raise a concern about labour, safety or ethics in our business or among our partners. Mark your message “Confidential” and it will be handled discreetly.
